Dance Theatre is a student organization at James Madison University dedicated to uniting dancers, dance enthusiasts, and all lovers of dance. DT actively participates in on campus events, the promotion of the School of Theatre & Dance Events, community outreach, and social events. This organization is comprised of mainly dance majors, but is open to any student on campus who is interested in dance and brining it into our community in Harrisonburg.
Through our organization, we participate in community service events such as Relay For Life and the children's Harvest Festival! We create and sell merchandise for the School of Theatre and Dance. We host social events to get members involved and bonding! We also have fundraising events to help raise money for our big events! You also receive a family when you enter JMU'S Dance Theatre your freshman year. You get a big, g big, and gg big to connect with and learn more about the program from.
